In his opinion, Trump's strategy deserves support and is the right one
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan, expressed confidence that the possibility of achieving peace in the Middle East, especially in Palestine, still exists. He made this statement during a briefing while answering journalists' questions.
In response to a comment about Kazakhstan positioning itself as a "middle power," yet becoming part of the Council for Peace established by Donald Trump, Tokayev emphasized his respect for the U.S. President. He believes that Trump's strategy is correct and deserving of support.
The President noted that he was attracted to the very concept of this initiative and its innovative approach to solving complex international problems.
According to Tokayev, this is about the synergy of traditional diplomacy and the capabilities of large businesses, which can bring tangible benefits to the population, especially in the Gaza sector.
"People around the world are tired of endless conferences where resolutions with good intentions are adopted. These resolutions are read by only a few. Therefore, I consider it important to support this initiative, as it offers a new approach," he noted.
Tokayev also added that Trump gives the impression of a strong and bold leader.
"I believe that the possibility of achieving peace in the Middle East, especially in Palestine, still exists. And I sincerely hope for the successful future of this initiative," concluded the President of Kazakhstan.
