On the eve, three B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers of the U.S. Air Force flew towards Iran. This became known thanks to data from the Military Air Tracking Alliance and a video published by the U.S. Central Command in the Middle East.

According to information from open sources, the bombers took off from the "Fairford" base in the UK. Reuters had previously reported the presence of American heavy bombers at this base, which were sent to Europe as part of a military operation against Iran.

Experts note that the non-stop mission could last approximately 16-17 hours, including operations in Iranian airspace. However, official U.S. sources did not disclose details of this flight, such as targets and types of weaponry used.

Earlier, Reuters reported that the Pentagon is increasing the number of airstrikes against Iran, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Cain, claimed that this is the most intense phase of airstrikes throughout the operation.

According to AP data, during the military campaign, the U.S. has already carried out thousands of strikes on Iranian facilities, including those related to missile infrastructure and military logistics.
