Border guards and customs officers checked a MAN truck at the "Termez-Automobile" checkpoint, which arrived from Afghanistan. Its cargo was potatoes; however, upon closer inspection, fakes in the form of tubers were discovered.
"Inside these decoys was hashish: a total of 222 bricks disguised as potatoes were found. The weight of the seized drugs amounted to 72 kilograms and 300 grams," the press center's message specifies.
It has been preliminarily established that this cargo was intended for shipment to Russia. Currently, investigative measures are being conducted regarding this incident.
