
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this attack became one of the largest in history, involving 556 drones. Of these, 15 reached their target, while 541 were shot down. In the Lviv region, at least 19 people were injured, according to information from the head of the local military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi. The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, reported higher figures — 22 injured. One of the strikes damaged a residential building in the Sykhiv area.
A UNESCO World Heritage site, the ensemble of the Bernardine Monastery, was also damaged. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Andrii Sybiha, appealed to the Director-General of UNESCO, Khaled al-Anani, urging an immediate response to this crime.
The Ivano-Frankivsk region also came under attack: two people died in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk, reported the head of the regional military administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk. Mayor Ruslan Martynkiv added that four more were injured, and about 10 residential buildings were damaged.
The Vinnytsia region was also hit: one fatality and 13 injuries were recorded, according to local administration data.
