Necessary checks were carried out using the EAIS software, as well as through the analysis of accompanying documents and information about the vehicles. The agency established that some cars had a later year of manufacture indicated in the documents than what should have been expected based on the VIN codes.
For example, on May 5, 2025, a FAW JIEFANG truck arrived at the MTO "Naryn." The documents indicated the year of manufacture as 2020, however, according to the international standard ISO 3779, the tenth character of the VIN - the letter K - corresponds to the year 2019. The total amount of customs duties amounted to 231,591 soms.
All collected materials regarding the identified violations have been transferred to the Investigative Department of the State Customs Service. As a result of the conducted activities, 3,343,704 soms were collected for the budget of Kyrgyzstan.
