The Crisis Management Center of the MES maintained communication with citizens caught in the jam, providing necessary assistance.
Additionally, officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and two specialized units from the 9th Special Operations Command participated in the operation.
Earlier, Narimanbet Myktyraliev, the chief specialist of the state enterprise "Kyrgyzavtozhol-North," emphasized that vehicles unprepared for winter often cause traffic jams on mountain roads. He noted that truck drivers do not always prepare in advance for the winter season: they do not change tires, do not use anti-skid chains, and as a result, get stuck in the passes when weather conditions worsen, complicating the work of special equipment for road clearing.
