The incident occurred on January 11 at around 10:00 at the "Partner Neft" gas station, located at the corner of Rustaveli and Gagarin streets, where a report of a conflict was received.
Preliminary data indicates that a man, under the influence of alcohol, asked the driver for money. After being refused, he became aggressive and attacked the motorist. As a result of the scuffle, the suspect pushed the victim and, illegally taking possession of his car – a dark Daewoo Matiz – fled towards the Rabochiy Gorodok along Gagarin Street.
Operational measures were promptly organized. Despite the attempt to escape, law enforcement managed to detain the suspect at the intersection of Gagarin and Alykulov streets. The operation was conducted by officers of the 4th company of the patrol police regiment of the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs.
The detained individual turned out to be 22-year-old U. uulu N., born in 2001. He was taken to the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs for further investigative actions in accordance with the law.
