A seminar for teachers dedicated to modern and interactive methods of teaching the epic "Manas" was held in Bishkek.
According to the Manas Academy, the main goal of this event was to improve the quality of teaching the epic using digital technologies and new pedagogical approaches.
The training involved Manas scholars, and the seminar was led by well-known storytellers: honored artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Samat Kochorbaev, Daniyar Karabaev, and Chynara Salieva.
After an interactive game for introductions, participants listened to a lecture by Samat Kochorbaev on the history of the epic "Manas." Then, within the framework of group discussions and testing, issues and new approaches to teaching were explored.
In the practical part of the event, teachers used various games, tools for digital text analysis (such as Voyant and AntConc), as well as artificial intelligence and online platforms to develop and defend modern lesson plans.
The event concluded with a general discussion, feedback, and the presentation of certificates to participants.
"Participants gained knowledge about digital and interactive methods, acquiring practical tools for actively teaching the epic 'Manas'," the message states.
