The city administration clarified that the process of connecting heating is multi-stage and takes time.
“Please be patient. During the first three days, preparatory work is carried out: assembling the heating system scheme, opening valves on the heating networks, starting pump stations, as well as opening valves at heating points in residential buildings and addressing damages. Then, over the next five days, the system is adjusted both in the heating networks and in the buildings themselves. This is necessary to ensure a uniform supply of heat without underheating or overheating for all residents,” the city administration reports.
After the heating is connected, residents are advised to:
- bleed air from the radiators. Those living on the upper floors should check and open the air release valves on the radiators. Accumulated air can hinder the circulation of the heat carrier, leading to cold radiators;
- insulate windows and doors, which will help prevent heat loss and maintain a comfortable temperature in the apartments.
