Azamat Asanbekov, who works in the Technical Department of the Kyrgyz Football Union, successfully completed an internship organized by FIFA for staff of member associations. He became the first and only representative from Central Asia invited to this highly regarded international course.
From September 9 to October 31, 2025, Asanbekov was at FIFA's office in Paris, where he worked in the Member Associations Services Department. His responsibilities included coordinating projects, monitoring, and studying the implementation of FIFA Forward initiatives. The experience gained laid the foundation for developing project management skills and implementing support programs for football activities at the level of participating countries.
During the internship, participants from 21 countries around the world exchanged experiences and discussed best practices in football management, gaining knowledge at the international level.
The Kyrgyz Football Union congratulated Azamat Asanbekov on the successful completion of his internship and expressed confidence that his new knowledge and experience will play an important role in the further development of football in Kyrgyzstan, including optimizing work with associations, FIFA Forward projects, and the overall infrastructure of football management.
