In recent days, the national flag was raised and lowered several times at the central square of Bishkek, Ala-Too. A video posted on social media showed how, according to viewers, the flag "is waving on the road." This video quickly gained numerous views within just a few hours.

The flag had to be lowered due to strong winds.




The flagpole at Ala-Too Square reaches a height of 100 meters, and the dimensions of the flag are 33 by 18 meters. It is one of the largest flags in Central Asia.
