The Supreme Court of Turkey ruled the husband guilty in a divorce case due to his activity on social media, where he "liked" photos of other women. The court ordered him to pay 500,000 lira (equivalent to over 1 million soms) as compensation, as well as to pay monthly alimony. This was reported by the Habertürk TV channel.

The wife initiated the legal proceedings in the Supreme Court, justifying her claims by her husband's behavior, including his disrespectful attitude towards her and financial insolvency.

According to her, the husband humiliated her, failed to provide for her financially, and showed infidelity by "liking" photos of other women online. The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the court in Kayseri, finding the man guilty of the divorce and obligating him to pay 500,000 lira as compensation and 5,000 lira monthly in alimony, as reported by the TV channel.

This decision has become significant and will serve as a precedent for future divorce cases involving similar circumstances.
