Foreigners will be reimbursed for part of their expenses for filming movies in Uzbekistan

Foreign film companies will be able to receive partial reimbursement for their filming expenses in Uzbekistan. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Neighbors - Central Asia."

The amount of compensation paid from the state budget will vary from 10 to 25 percent depending on the volume of incurred expenses. The maximum amount that can be received for one film will be 4 billion sums.

The Tourism Development Fund will also support production processes by financing scenes that highlight the "positive aspects" of Uzbekistan. Compensation will apply to both on-location shoots and studio work, including episodes using computer graphics.
