According to information from the local municipality, the repair work was funded by the city budget. The building, constructed in 1960, had not undergone major repairs for many years and was in critical condition. This year, the mayor's office took notice of its deplorable state during one of the inspections, which led to the decision to carry out a large-scale reconstruction.
During the major renovation, the following work was completed:
– the roof and floors were updated;
– interior finishing of the premises was carried out;
– the kitchen was completely re-equipped with new electric stoves and a ventilation system;
– sanitary facilities were replaced, and new toilets and sinks were installed;
– new cribs, furniture, and equipment for children were purchased.
Special attention was paid to the improvement of the adjacent territory. The previously neglected area has now transformed: paving stones have been laid, trees and shrubs have been planted, and a playground, gazebos, and benches have been installed.
The institution houses children whose parents have abandoned them, and the center plays an important social role in their care and rehabilitation.
The mayor's office also provided the center with sets of necessary items and household appliances, as well as toys and personal hygiene products for the children. Each employee was given 2000 soms.
