**Brief overview of the incident**
Lyudmila Kozhevnikova was deceived by fraudsters in April of this year. They introduced themselves as employees of law enforcement and the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and informed her about a "special operation" to catch black realtors. Under pressure from threats and with the "code word" - "apple" - she agreed to sell her apartment and transfer the money, believing she was helping the investigation. She found a buyer herself at the fraudsters' instruction. After the deal was completed, the criminals stopped communicating, and Kozhevnikova realized she had fallen victim to a scam. Upon contacting the police, she learned that the damage amounted to nearly 2.4 million soms, and a criminal case was initiated.

After filing a fraud complaint, the case was handled by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Jayil District, but there was no significant progress. In November, the investigation was transferred to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui Region, but soon the materials returned to the Jayil District Department of Internal Affairs, and the case stalled.
Lawyer Indira Sautova, representing Kozhevnikova's interests, reported that the proceedings in the case were suspended due to the inability to identify the fraudsters.
According to the lawyer, the buyers of the apartment sold by Kozhevnikova filed an eviction lawsuit. The first instance satisfied the claim. The criminal case against the fraudsters remains unsolved. Sautova noted that they have contacted the prosecutor's office and the Main Department of Internal Affairs several times, but to no avail, and the case materials continued to return to the Jayil Prosecutor's Office.
According to Sautova, within the framework of the criminal case, "droppers" were identified. "A law regarding droppers was recently adopted. Three individuals who received the money have been identified, but no measures are being taken to detain them," she added.
The lawyer reported that there were seizures conducted on the accounts to which Kozhevnikova transferred money.
Recently, it became known that the criminal case has been suspended again and transferred to the police of Kara-Balta. Kozhevnikova notes that law enforcement agencies are not taking measures to find the criminals. "Why are the droppers not being detained?" she asks. The Chui Prosecutor's Office does not respond to their complaints about the change of jurisdiction. In eight months, there have been no actions from the police, and Kozhevnikova asks daily: "What is happening with my case?"

The regional eviction court is already close. I am urgently asking for help,” concluded Kozhevnikova.
