On December 12, a presentation of the seven-volume work "Ishenaly Arabayev" took place at the Youth Theater named after Baken Kydykeeva.

According to historian and professor Mirgul Esengulova, this publication was prepared by the center "Development of the State Language and Arabayev Studies" as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabayev.

Among the authors and compilers of the seven-volume work are corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Tolobek Abdyrahmanov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Ainura Akunova, Professor Mirgul Esengulova, as well as candidates of historical sciences Aida Kubatova and Jumagul Baidildiev.

The presentation began with a performance of the play "Arabayev - Jeti Kün," directed by Nazym Mendebairova, with the script written by Nurkyz Ryskulova.

The play tells the life story of the educator and public figure Ishenaly Arabayev, starting from his studies with a local mullah in the village of Kochkor and later at a madrasah in Karakol under the guidance of Zair Tairov. It also highlights his travels to various countries, including Orenburg, Constantinople, Mecca, Medina, and Ufa, where he studied at the madrasah "Galiya."

At the madrasah "Galiya," Ishenaly Arabayev, as a student, published the poem by Moldokylych "Zalzala" (1911) and, together with his Kazakh friend Hafiz Sarsekeev, created the well-known primer "Alifba Tötö okuu" (1911). Students of different nationalities studied there, among them were future famous writers and poets such as Sabir Gabdelmanov and Magzhan Jumabaev. "The friendly atmosphere and the respect of teachers for students had a significant impact on the philosophy of enlightenment of Ishenaly Arabayev," added Esengulova.

The play covers all key moments in the life of the educator, including the founding of the "Kurmaniya" school, the October Revolution, his role in the creation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Republic, as well as the repressions and his death.

"This drama and the books reflect the fate of an outstanding person. Just as Kazakhs take pride in Ibrai Altynsarin, we should take pride in Ishenaly Arabayev. He deserves great honors, and it is time to speak about this openly," noted Mirgul Esengulova.

Relatives of Ishenaly Arabayev were also present at the event, including his granddaughter Nuripa.
