The initiative to create the "Aitmatov Map" was proposed by deputies of local and city councils in Kyrgyzstan. This project will be analogous to the "Mendeleev Map" implemented in Russia and is aimed at supporting talented youth.

The proposal arose during the visit of the Kyrgyz delegation to Moscow, where 62 deputies participated in the "Discover Russia" program. The main objective of the trip was to study Russian practices in working with youth that could be beneficial for Kyrgyzstan.

The parliamentarians expressed particular interest in the "Mendeleev Map," which in Russia offers gifted schoolchildren and students various bonuses, including discounts on education, transportation, and access to cultural events such as theaters and museums. The deputies believe that a similar mechanism could become an effective tool for supporting youth in Kyrgyzstan.

The planned "Aitmatov Map" will represent a national program that unites educational and cultural opportunities for youth, based on the legacy of the famous Kyrgyz writer Chinghiz Aitmatov.

Additionally, the delegation learned about the Russian competition "Region for Youth," which supports youth initiatives at the regional level. The deputies noted that such formats are important for Kyrgyzstan and could promote active youth involvement in the development of their communities.

During the visit, Kyrgyz parliamentarians also visited the Government of Moscow, the Situational Center, and the Moscow City Duma, where they were presented with key city programs. The cultural part of the program included a tour of the Museum of Victory and a walk around Red Square.

The trip to Moscow became an important stage in strengthening ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, and the ideas gained during the visit are intended to be discussed back home to launch new youth initiatives.
