On December 18 in Urumqi, China, a meeting took place between Nurdana Oruntaev, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan, and Li Hongbin, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Housing Construction and Urban and Rural Development of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
During the meeting, key aspects of establishing and further developing cooperation between the Ministry of Construction of Kyrgyzstan and the corresponding department of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were discussed.
The parties also considered opportunities for exchanging experiences in the field of seismic resilience, quality control of construction works, and improving the qualifications of specialists in the construction industry.
It is worth noting that on December 17, Nurdana Oruntaev arrived in Urumqi along with representatives of about 30 construction companies from Kyrgyzstan. The main goal of this working trip was to familiarize themselves with the production capabilities of the city in the field of building materials and to establish partnerships with local manufacturing enterprises in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
