On November 7 in Beijing, a ministerial-level conference titled "China – Central Asia on Construction Issues 2025" was held, gathering representatives from government bodies, research institutions, and the private sector from Central Asian countries and China.
The Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Minister Nurdana Oruntaev, also participated in this event.
In his speech, Minister Oruntaev emphasized the importance of energy-efficient construction, the transition to digital technologies in design, increasing the seismic resistance of buildings, and creating a comfortable urban environment. He added that for Kyrgyzstan, a key direction is the implementation of modern technologies in industrial housing construction and the training of qualified personnel in the field of construction and architecture.
As part of this conference, a meeting took place between the Minister of Construction of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurdana Oruntaev and the Minister of Housing, Urban and Rural Construction of China Ni Hong.
During their negotiations, they discussed issues of experience exchange and training specialists in seismic-resistant and energy-saving construction. The parties also considered opportunities for strengthening cooperation in developing sustainable urban conditions, implementing innovative solutions, and creating affordable housing.
