The People's Kurultai continues in the capital
At the IV People's Kurultai, Gaarba Orozmatov, a delegate from Bishkek, called on the Constitutional Court to overturn its previous decision and reinstate the death penalty for individuals who commit crimes such as pedophilia, murders of women and children, as well as corruption.
“It is important that such measures are taken only after thorough verification to avoid mistakes and injustice,” Orozmatov noted.
Additionally, he proposed to change the names of all four districts of the capital.
“The time has come for these changes,” the delegate concluded.
