Residents of the village of Turk-Abad, located in the Suzak district, are facing the problem of their homes being demolished due to the construction of a new railway. This was reported by the regional delegate Jumakan Ormonova at the IV People's Kurultai.

She noted that the land plots were purchased by local residents between 1995 and 2000.

“People are not against providing their lands for construction needs, but they demand compensation and alternative plots,” the delegate stated.

The IV People's Kurultai is taking place in Bishkek from December 25 to 26, serving as a platform for delegates from all regions of Kyrgyzstan to communicate directly with the country's leadership, where they can discuss pressing issues and propose ideas for the development of the republic.
