At the IV People's Kurultai, the delegate from the Jumgal region, Bermet Nurdinova, presented the requests of local residents.
She emphasized that the residents of the area are asking for coal to be sold at a price equal to half its cost, as the coal reserves are located on their territory.
Additionally, Nurdinova noted the negative consequences of coal mining, such as the reduction of pastures and the deterioration of air quality.
The delegate also called for solutions to issues related to irrigation, including the construction of BSR and BDR systems, and raised the topic of the need to expand roads in the area.
