Modern Artificial Insemination Technologies for Cattle are Being Implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic

The Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Service, part of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, has announced the acquisition of modern equipment for artificial insemination of cattle. The press service of the agency reports that these investments are aimed at increasing productivity in animal husbandry and improving financial conditions for farmers.

The First Deputy Minister, Zhanibek Kerimaliev, personally familiarized himself with the new equipment sets, checking their quality and the progress of the project implementation.

The purchase was made as part of the World Bank project "Development of Sustainable Agri-Food Clusters," which is being implemented through the Center for Competitiveness in Agribusiness.

The sets include Dewar vessels for long-term storage of frozen semen, as well as other specialized equipment necessary for the effective and safe conduct of artificial insemination.

The ministry emphasized that the introduction of new technologies will contribute to improving breeding work, increasing the genetic potential of cattle, and ensuring the sustainable development of the livestock sector.
