According to data from the National Statistical Committee, working women in rural areas spend an average of six and a half hours a day on household duties, while in cities this figure is about five hours. These are the results of a sample time budget survey.

Women dedicate about 4 hours and 40 minutes daily to household chores, which accounts for more than 19.4% of their total time. In contrast, men spend only 3.8% or less than one hour a day on these tasks. In rural areas, both men and women spend 20% more time on household chores than their urban counterparts.
