According to reports from the Paris prosecutor's office, the detainees are two men aged 38 and 39, as well as two women aged 31 and 40, all of whom are residents of the Paris metropolitan area. Chief Prosecutor Laura Becco announced this in an interview published on France Info.

Information about the role of the detainees in the robbery that occurred on October 19 has not yet been disclosed. Under French law, the maximum detention period for questioning is 96 hours.

The investigation, which began on October 29, has already led to charges against four other individuals. Among them, three men aged 35, 37, and 39 are suspected of direct involvement in the museum robbery, as well as a 38-year-old woman who is accused of complicity.

As a result of the robbery that took place just a month ago, the criminals managed to steal historical artifacts worth about 88 million euros from the Louvre in a record seven minutes. The group of robbers arrived at the museum at the moment it opened to visitors, using a stolen truck with a lift. They ascended to a balcony overlooking the Seine River and, using disc cutters, broke a window, after which they entered the Apollo Gallery and opened safes containing jewels.

Previously, the Paris prosecutor claimed that the robbery was carried out by petty criminals.
