
Maria Vorontsova, the daughter of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, has been appointed as the director of the Medical Scientific and Educational Institute (MNOI) at Lomonosov Moscow State University, as reported by the Telegram channel "Dozhd".
The MNOI represents an "integrated scientific and educational cluster," which includes the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine, the Center for Regenerative Medicine, and the university clinic of Moscow State University.
The website of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine notes that the university is actively pursuing a personnel policy aimed at renewing the management staff and supporting young specialists.
From 2022 to 2024, Vorontsova served as the acting deputy dean for science at the faculty, and from 2024 to 2025, she held the position of deputy director for science at MNOI.
This summer, she spoke at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum with a report dedicated to enhancing human capabilities.
