The popular K-pop group BTS has announced a world tour that will begin in April 2026, as reported by The Guardian. The tour will cover regions such as Asia, North and South America, Australia, and Europe, with a total of more than 70 performances.

This tour will be the first for the group after their concerts in 2021-2022.

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on January 22 and 23, and only members of the official fan club will be able to purchase them on a special platform. From January 24, tickets will be available to everyone else.

It is worth noting that in July 2025, the members of BTS returned to group activities after a four-year hiatus due to mandatory military service.

In South Korea, all men are required to serve in the military for 18 to 21 months. Artists and athletes who have achieved international success are granted certain exemptions; however, K-pop performers are not included in this list. BTS received a deferment from military service in 2020 thanks to an amendment to the law that allows service to be postponed until the age of 30.
