Former Oslo mayor Raymond Johansen also commented on the situation, calling it "incredibly shameful," and added that this action harms one of the most prestigious global awards. He emphasized that the awarding of the prize has become so politicized and potentially dangerous that it could legitimize actions against the idea of peace.
