
In their appeal, citizens urged President Sadyr Japarov and the head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev to intervene in the situation related to the delays in the handover of apartments and the slowdown in the construction process. The press service of the GKNB reported the initiation of an investigation regarding this situation.
On January 26, a meeting was held at the Main Department of the GKNB in Osh and the Osh region with the management of "Elit-Stroy-City," including Kasymzhanov B.K., Ali uulu B., and Sultanov U.O. Representatives from the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic also participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, company representatives provided information about the factors affecting the pace of construction, as well as the reasons for the delays in handing over the properties for self-finishing. They were reminded of the state policy aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and the necessity to comply with the law and fulfill obligations to the investors.
The management of "Elit-Stroy-City" committed to completing the construction and handing over the properties for self-finishing no later than September 2026.
Additionally, it was reported that the company's management is subject to restrictions on leaving the country until all construction work is completed. The GKNB will also carry out enhanced monitoring of the phased handover of the properties.
