She emphasized that there had previously been an idea to bring this issue to a broader public discussion, which could lead to more worthy alternatives emerging.
Talieva appealed to representatives of the Ministry of Culture to intensify efforts in collecting and selecting proposals. She pointed out that the lack of a suitable option from 900 applications indicates the need for a deeper and more thorough approach to this process.
In her opinion, this issue requires special attention and responsibility. The deputy noted that the parliament is faced with an important decision, and members of the relevant committee should be more actively involved in this process.
Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu added that both individual citizens and creative groups could participate in developing proposals. He also noted that if worthy options are not presented by June 1, the deadlines may be extended, possibly until September.
Turgunbek uulu stressed that this issue cannot be treated formally, as it concerns a serious decision that will be made by the parliament.
