Recently, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, along with deputies from the "Ata-Jurt" group and representatives of state institutions, conducted an inspection of socio-cultural facilities in the city of Kaindy.

According to the press service of the parliament, there are currently no cultural institutions in Kaindy: the only House of Culture, which belonged to the sugar factory, is in a deplorable state. The residents of the city have appealed for assistance in constructing a new House of Culture.

Turgunbek uulu noted that despite the focus on regional development, cities located close to the capital should not be forgotten.

“Kaindy was once known not only in Kyrgyzstan but also beyond its borders. However, in the early years of independence, it was left without proper attention, and its socio-infrastructure problems grew. The outdated cultural institution is a vivid example of this. Therefore, the ministry needs to urgently allocate funds for the construction of a multifunctional building,” he emphasized.

The Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, and Youth Policy presented the concept of the new House of Culture.

The speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh added that when designing social and cultural facilities, it is important to consider national traditions and proposed making changes to the presented project.

Then the deputies visited the Panfilov district, where the construction of a cultural and educational health center is planned, familiarizing themselves with the project.

The local authorities reported that the center will be located near new residential buildings that are planned to be built on a mortgage basis.

“Over the past three to four years, we have actively built schools, kindergartens, and hospitals, and now it is also important to focus on creating health and cultural-educational institutions. The main wealth of our state is its people. By caring for the health and education of citizens, as well as raising cultural issues, we can achieve the goals of building a strong state. These areas are interconnected and are priorities,” the speaker noted, emphasizing the need for the swift completion of this facility's construction.
