In the "Couples" section, the love story of Kyrgyz woman Aydana Kalishchuk and Russian Sergey Kalishchuk is presented.

Sergey, born in 1995 in Toktogul, located in the Jalal-Abad region, embraced Islam at the age of 12, taking the name Abdullah. He currently resides in the village of Belovodskoye, in the Moscow district of Chui region, where he works as an auto blogger and sells cars. He has a secondary education, having completed 9 grades.

“In 2020, when I turned 25, I got married. We were introduced by my friend's sister. I liked her at first sight, and I immediately told her, ‘I will marry you.’ We met on May 25, and by June 25, we celebrated our wedding,” he recounts.

The wedding ceremony took place in the midst of the pandemic, so the celebration was modest, and many relatives could not attend. The wedding was organized according to Kyrgyz traditions. My wife, Aydana Kalishchuk (maiden name — Abdullaeva), was born in 1997 in Osh and now carries my surname.

No one objected to our marriage: my mother supported us, and my father-in-law and mother-in-law approved of our choice. Aydana spoke with them herself and smoothed everything over; they were also not against it. Throughout our life together, we have never quarreled and live in complete harmony,” Sergey added.

He also noted that Aydana does not speak Russian very well, and his mother speaks Kyrgyz poorly: “Nevertheless, they communicate using Kyrgyz and Russian, which looks quite amusing.”

“I am already familiar with the traditions of the Kyrgyz people, as I live here. In my free time, I am passionate about cars. In the future, I want to make a significant contribution to the development of Kyrgyzstan,” Sergey shared his plans.
