In his speech, Sergio Gore noted that his visit to Kyrgyzstan is linked to "a simple and clear message from President Donald Trump."
He emphasized that "the U.S. is interested in cooperation with Central Asia and considers this region a priority." Gore added that this commitment will develop over the three years of the current administration's work.
The special envoy pointed out that the U.S. has long neglected this region, but under the Trump administration, the situation is improving.
"As you may have noticed during the 'C5+1' meeting at the White House last year, interest in this region comes directly from the Oval Office. This underscores the strategic significance of Central Asia for us. We plan to build our further cooperation on this basis," he said.
Sergio Gore added that the U.S. possesses innovations, advanced technologies, and unique expertise, and is ready to cooperate with the countries of Central Asia to unlock their potential.
"We see this not just as a one-time event, but as the beginning of long-term and sustainable cooperation in the future. The presence of American companies here creates new opportunities for deepening commercial ties between the U.S. and the five countries of the region. We fully support our companies and are ready to facilitate their successful operations here," he stated.
According to Sergio Gore, the forum participants will focus on developing new ideas to expand commercial opportunities in key sectors such as e-commerce, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, agriculture, transportation, and many other areas.
