At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Suyunbek Omurzakov raised the issue of high rental prices for housing. He noted that despite active construction across the country, rental prices remain at a high level.
“For young families and low-income individuals, renting housing has become a real problem. Compared to neighboring countries, our rental prices are even higher. How do you plan to regulate these prices?” he addressed those present.
In response, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Daniyar Amangeldiev, pointed to the implementation of an Islamic financing program in the State Mortgage Company.
According to him, the project provides for the possibility of renting built housing with subsequent purchase. This bill has already been approved by parliament.
“An agreement has been reached with the Islamic Fund for financing in the amount of 200 million dollars. Currently, the fund is ready to increase the amount to 400 million dollars. We are confident that this project will be successful and are ready to attract these funds,” Amangeldiev added.
