Traffic is completely stopped on the Aral–Kazar man section
On February 12, an avalanche occurred on the alternative North-South highway, in the area between Aral and Kazarman (section 243–296 km), as reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of this incident, vehicle movement in both directions has been temporarily suspended. The size of the avalanche is currently being assessed.
Clearing operations are being carried out by the road maintenance enterprise No. 18, which belongs to the Ministry of Transport. Special equipment has been dispatched for this purpose, and the process is ongoing.
