Autism is one of the most pressing topics in the fields of medicine and education. According to international studies, the number of children with ASD is steadily increasing, making early detection, support, and social adaptation particularly important for society.
In Kyrgyzstan, there is no official statistics on early autism diagnosis; however, practice shows that cases of ASD diagnosis among children are on the rise.This conference will serve as an important platform for discussing modern and effective methods of applied behavior analysis, as well as for creating an accessible and supportive environment for people with autism.
- There are about 50 correctional and educational centers operating in Bishkek that work with children who have developmental delays. The conference will aim to unite the efforts of interdisciplinary specialists to provide quality assistance to children with ASD.
- The event is practical in nature and will be beneficial for ABA specialists, educators, doctors, speech therapists, defectologists, children's center managers, and parents — all those who interact with children with developmental disabilities and use evidence-based methods.
One of the main speakers of the conference will be Daria Li-Romanova (clinical psychologist, supervisor AR, BCBA, IBA, CBA-S from Hong Kong). Experts from Russia are also expected to attend.
