Prior to this appointment, Baiterek worked in the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, where she held the position of head of the department of education, science, culture, sports, and youth.
It is worth noting that recently the government created a new state institution named "Information and Publishing House 'Kyrgyz Tuusu'", signing the corresponding decision by Adylbek Kasymaliev.
This organization emerged as a result of the merger of two publishing houses: "Kyrgyz Tuusu" and "Slovo Kyrgyzstana", as well as the editorial offices of the magazines "Baichchekey" and "Ala-Too".
Galina Baiterek was born on July 19, 1971, in the village of Rovnom, located in the Panfilov district of the Chui region.
She has a higher education: in 1996, she graduated from the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn with a degree in "Russian Philology".
- From 1994 to 2001, she worked at the children's studio "Balastan", performing the duties of director, editor, and host. She created children's television projects such as "Sami s usami", "To the Treasures of the Incas", "The Magnificent Seven", "I Want to Know Everything", as well as programs for teenagers "The Fifth Wall" and music shows, including "Narisete Azemi" and "Cheerful Notes".
- From 2002 to 2004, she was a reviewer at the "Daytime Block of TV Programs" of KTR, as well as the host of the analytical program "Theme of the Day".
- From 2004 to 2006, she worked as a director of the program "Arnoo Concerti" at the advertising and commercial agency KTR.
- From 2007 to 2008, she held the position of editor in the main editorial office of socio-economic and innovative programs, leading programs such as "Ala-Too Plus", "The People Want to Know", and "Accent" live.
- From 2009 to 2010, she was a reviewer at the TRK "ElTR" and the host of the analytical program "Results of the Week".
- From 2010 to 2015, she worked as a political reviewer in the main editorial office of socio-economic and innovative programs of KTRK, as well as the host of the programs "The People Want to Know" and "CIC Reports". She also hosted all live broadcasts related to the presidential elections and elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, and was the author and host of the talk show "Free Microphone" and the presidential program "Strategy-2040".
- In October 2020, Galina Baiterek was appointed as the press secretary of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- In May 2021, she took the position of head of the department of education, science, culture, sports, and youth in the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.
