Among the participants were State Secretary Arslan Koychiev, Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev, as well as representatives of historical science, state and public organizations, and students from higher educational institutions.
Speaking at the event, Arslan Koychiev emphasized the significance of Jussup Abdrakhmanov for the formation of Kyrgyz statehood and stressed the need to pass on his ideas and principles of serving the people to future generations.
Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev added that within the framework of the presidential decree "National Spirit — Global Heights," work is actively continuing on studying the historical heritage, emphasizing that Abdrakhmanov's contribution to history will be researched with particular attention. He also noted that Jussup Abdrakhmanov viewed public service as a high responsibility to the people, serving as an example for current and future officials.
The Ministry is also implementing a number of cultural and film projects aimed at popularizing the legacy of Jussup Abdrakhmanov. Among them is the feature film "Jussup," which is timed to the 125th anniversary of the figure, as well as the historical series "Kara Kyrgyz," aimed at forming historical consciousness among the youth.
The Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President named after Jussup Abdrakhmanov, Aigul Kalchakeeva, announced the creation of a new educational course titled "Abdrakhmanov Studies."
At the conclusion of the event, flowers were laid at the monument to Jussup Abdrakhmanov in honor and memory of his contribution to the history of the country.
