The President initiated the unification of state media and the creation of a publishing house

Sadyr Japarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan, signed a decree that initiates the creation of a new state publishing house called "Kyrgyz Tuusu".

This decree aims to develop state information policy, strengthen the printing base, ensure the effective operation of state media, and optimize budget expenditures.

According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers is tasked with merging several state media platforms and publishing structures, including the publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu", "Slovo Kyrgyzstana", the children's magazine "Baichchekek", and the literary-art magazine "Ala-Too". At the same time, the editorial offices of the newspaper "Zhetkinchek" and the magazine "Kyrchyn" will be abolished.

The new state publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu" will be formed on the basis of the merged organizations. The Cabinet is required to develop and approve the regulations for the new institution, as well as the staffing schedule and budget. Meanwhile, the standard staffing of organizations in the field of culture, art, and information will increase by 22 positions.

The decree comes into effect from the moment of its official publication.
