President Sadyr Japarov has signed the relevant decree
According to the president's press service, the decree "On the Establishment of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Arab Republic of Egypt" will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
The new diplomatic mission will serve approximately three thousand citizens of Kyrgyzstan residing in Egypt and neighboring countries in North Africa.
According to the decree, the embassy will be located in the capital of Egypt, Cairo. Oversight of its implementation has been assigned to the department responsible for executing the decisions of the president and the cabinet of ministers.
