The main goal of such materials is to deceive people, gain their trust, and prompt them to transfer money or disclose personal information.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs recommends taking the following precautions:
- avoid trusting videos from unreliable and unknown sources;
- obtain information exclusively through official channels of government institutions;
- do not click on suspicious links;
- avoid transferring funds or sharing personal data based on video materials found online.
The agency emphasizes that criminals exploit the trust of citizens and urges everyone to be vigilant and verify information to avoid becoming a victim of fraud.
