She noted that over the past three years, the cost of the main test and elective subject tests remained at 470 soms, while the state language test cost 200 soms.
“Taking into account inflation and rising service prices, we recalculated the registration fee. Starting from 2026 and for the next three years, the price of the state language test will increase to 470 soms. The main and subject tests will remain the same,” Batrakeeva explained.

Chynara Batrakeeva also added that other innovations will be introduced in 2026. Previously, the results of the Unified National Test (UNT) were mandatory for admission to higher educational institutions; however, starting this year, admission to grant and contract places in secondary specialized educational institutions based on 11 classes is allowed.
The registration process will also change. “Since 2021, registration for the UNT has been conducted online, tied to representatives of district education departments, or applicants received a login and password from teachers or deputy directors. Now we are transitioning to a new system. Graduates of 2026 will be able to register through the unified system 'Kundoluk' (electronic diary), while graduates of previous years who contacted district departments will be able to authorize through 'Tunduk',” she clarified.
The method of payment for the registration fee will also change — a unified QR code will be implemented, allowing payments from any electronic wallets without the need to visit banks.
“Registration is possible through the 'Tunduk' app using a passport; however, to access the test, it is necessary to have the original document. We accept 'Tunduk', but during testing, the use of electronic devices is prohibited. Participants will not be allowed to take the UNT without the original passport,” Batrakeeva warned.
- The registration process for the UNT started on February 18 and will last until April 2. Testing is scheduled to take place from May 16 to 23.
