Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, has approved a new program that will operate in the field of culture and arts in Kyrgyzstan from 2026 to 2030. This was reported by the government’s press service.
The document includes not only the program itself but also an action plan for its implementation, as well as a budget and a matrix for monitoring and evaluating the program's execution.
The main goals and objectives, as well as the priority areas for cultural and artistic development until 2030, are defined in this program.
As noted in the message, among the goals of the program are increasing citizens' access to cultural values, opportunities for creative self-realization, forming civic identity, and enhancing the influence of culture on social and economic transformations in the country.
In addition, the program aims to strengthen cultural ties between regions, support the integration of cultural initiatives, and create conditions for active citizen participation in the cultural life of the country.
In total, about 30 events are planned, grouped into 6 main areas.
