The dismantling of structures built in violation of the project is ongoing. The demolition began earlier this week, and journalists from 24.kg conducted an inspection of the progress of the work.
The metal frame erected at the site of the fountains near the Central Department Store was deemed non-compliant with the approved projects, and changes to the plans were not discussed at the urban planning council.
According to information provided by the Bishkek city hall, the developer was given three days to rectify the violations. Currently, the dismantling is actively underway — the roof and part of the floor have already been demolished.
Special attention is being paid to restoring the fountain area that previously existed on this site. The restoration of the fountain composition has become a mandatory condition for putting the territory in order.
Earlier, the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, emphasized that the construction of the facility at the Central Department Store "Aichurek" should be carried out strictly in accordance with the approved project. The city authorities received assurances from the management about compliance with all agreed documents during the construction.
