
About 5000 women from all corners of the capital attended the event
A significant celebration dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8 took place in Bishkek. This information was provided by the press service of the city municipality.
The concert, held at the "Zhashtyk" arena, gathered approximately 5000 women from various districts of the city.
Notable figures such as the First Lady Aigul Japarova, the mayor of the capital Aibek Junushaliev, the Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration Kanat Sagynbaev, as well as other honored guests and representatives from various professional fields attended the event.
Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Junushaliev delivered a congratulatory speech to the participants. He expressed his congratulations on March 8 and wished women health, happiness, well-being, and new achievements.
"In our city, where the population exceeds 1.5 million, women make up more than half. This emphasizes your significance in shaping the atmosphere and future of the capital. You play a key role in education, upbringing, culture, and many other areas. You create values and strengthen families," noted the mayor.
Additionally, he highlighted the work of the employees of the municipal enterprises "Bishkekzelenstroy" and "Tazalyk," thanking them for their efforts in improving the city.
The festive program included a variety of musical performances, featuring both classical and contemporary works, with participation from well-known artists and creative groups. This event was a manifestation of respect and appreciation for women for their contribution to the development of society, the city, and the country.
