Jury member of the national competition Mekhman Fatullayev emphasized that such events are a pride and success for the capital and young cinema.

“There are many prestigious festivals, but the 'Umut' forum is exactly the platform that young filmmakers need to develop,” noted Fatullayev. “It is focused on the CIS countries and the Turkic world, which is its real achievement. I wish the forum many more years and hope that more new talents will emerge here,” he added.

Forum organizer Elvira Mamytova shared that this year the event became more professionally oriented thanks to Umut Industry.

“Our goal is to support authors at all stages of their work. We help develop and create projects, as well as promote finished films and find audiences for them. This comprehensive approach allows us to fulfill the main task of the forum - to provide comprehensive support for the creativity of young filmmakers. We hope that we have achieved this again this year,” concluded Mamytova.
