Citizens noticed changes in their pension savings thanks to the "Tunduk" application
Kyrgyz citizens expressed dissatisfaction over the decrease in their pension savings, which they noticed in the "Tunduk" application. Users began discussing this issue on social media, especially after the winter months when they observed discrepancies in their data.
In response, representatives of the Social Fund explained the reasons for such changes.
Since 2019, according to tax legislation, the Tax Service has fully taken on the functions of collecting insurance contributions and accepting reports. This means that the process of updating data on citizens' personal accounts involves several stages: employers submit reports on income tax and insurance contributions to the tax authorities through accounting, which then forwards the information to the Social Fund. Based on the received data, automatic crediting to the individual accounts of the insured is carried out.
The Social Fund noted that instances where users notice a decrease in the amount or its incorrect display most often occur due to clarifying reports submitted by organizations.
"If an organization's accountant submits a report with one amount, and later provides a corrected calculation with lower figures, for example, due to correcting errors, the system automatically updates the information on the personal account according to the latest official document from the Tax Service," the fund explained.
It is important to note that the Social Fund does not have the right to independently change the amounts of insurance contributions without documentary confirmation from the tax authorities.
In case discrepancies are found in the "Tunduk" application, it is recommended to:
- contact the accounting department at the workplace to verify the data in the reports;
- reach out to the district office of the Tax Service to confirm the accuracy of the submitted information;
- for detailed information regarding the personal account, contact any regional office of the Social Fund.
