Starting from March 9, 2026, the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund of Kyrgyzstan has begun accepting applications for the inclusion of medications in the subsidized drug provision program.
According to the fund's information, this initiative is aimed at improving the accessibility of essential medications for citizens and reducing the financial burden of treating chronic diseases.
The addition of new medications to the "List of Subsidized Medications" will allow insured individuals to purchase them with a maximum discount of up to 50% off the retail price.
Medical organizations can participate in this application campaign, which will help compile an up-to-date list of necessary medications.
Applications are accepted from March 9 to April 9, 2026, at the email: zayavki.foms@mail.ru. The subject line of the email should indicate the name of the medication and the date of application submission.
The following entities are allowed to submit applications:
- The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan;
- Medical institutions;
- Professional associations of medical workers;
- Holders of registration certificates for medications;
- Patient organizations.
