The parliament deputies reviewed and supported the draft law concerning amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Internal Migration," which was adopted in the first reading. The presentation of the draft law was conducted by Ernes Dosaliev, Deputy Director of the state institution "Kyzmat" under the Office of the President.
Dosaliev noted that the main goal of the initiative is to eliminate discrepancies and clarify the list of documents required for the registration of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. This, in turn, should improve the regulation of internal accounting processes.
He also emphasized that the adoption of this draft law will not worsen the legal status of the returnees. Their registration will be carried out in accordance with the legislation on external migration and the law "On State Guarantees for Ethnic Kyrgyz Resettling to the Kyrgyz Republic," which provides social guarantees and benefits for this group.
Additionally, the deputies adopted the draft law "On Amendments to the Law on Television and Radio Broadcasting" in the first reading. Marat Tagaev, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, reported that the amendments were developed to align the law with the updated version of the Digital Code and the Law "On Mass Media" dated August 6, 2025. In particular, it is proposed to replace the mention of the Law "On Electric and Postal Communications" with the "Digital Code."
In conclusion, the deputies also reviewed and approved the draft law on amendments to a number of legislative acts concerning labor and social security, as well as the recognition of some of them as having lost their force.
