During the plenary session, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satiev, reported serious deficiencies in the work of several courts.
He noted that among the 441 active judges of local courts, 137 judges have low performance indicators in the administration of justice, which accounts for 31% of the total number of judges.
At the same time, 133 judges who demonstrated high results in their work were awarded letters of appreciation.
Additionally, the court chairman reported that in 2025, local first-instance courts handled 280,308 court cases, which is 13.52% more compared to 2024.
Satiev also commented that the increase in the number of cases may be related to population growth, improved legal literacy among citizens, and increased trust in the judicial system. At the same time, this may indicate a rise in offenses, crimes, and an increase in civil and administrative disputes.
